Scarab arms/maxtact/milsig.ca/tactmark (I don't even know what to call them anymore) Thankfully they've solved that problem for us by merging under one name, (www.honorcore.com) this is an amazing move and I can't wait to see what else they have up there sleeve. www.honorcore.com, you want anything scarab arms/maxtact that's where you'll be heading from now on.
So far they have really come out of the gate running, looking at all the stuff that they have out and on the way, it's as if they looked at the mag-fed scene and said "fuck you, this is how it's done". I mean starting with their bullpup marker that resembles a Fn2000, they have a G36 mockup (looking forward to a release date on that) the TGR1 or Scar type marker is going into full production in all black, a sniper to compete with the milsig m17 sniper and what appears to be a compact SMG (the m18) resembling a MP7 almost.
From what I can tell all the new markers (minus the MP7) all still take the standard 18rd scarab mags. Where the MP7 looks to take TiPX mags (that will go nicely with the 12rd tru feed mags) but they all look gorgeous! I don't even know what I want anymore.
Next up we have a marker (or add on to the tgr series) that actually will fire glowing paintballs or tracers! Inside the chamber you can see that it actually will glow to illuminate the balls allowing you to see them as you're shooting them, Giving you tracers for night games! No more having to guess where you're shooting or what you're hitting. I'm curious to see if this is only for regular paint or will someone *cough tiberius cough* make done kind of first strike or shape round for this.
Finally (for now at least) there are some pictures of a blu tooth throat mic, they look incredible, I am looking for more info on this but I would assume they'll have Kingman pins, and a decent battery life, probably way longer than any radio will last. Either way that is a must for any tactical player.
That's all I've seen so far from them (so far), but they are definitely #1 in the mag-fed/milsim race, finally a company to produce markers other than a Ar15 variant! And multiple new toys that I can't wait to get my hands on!
This year truly is the year for mag-fed! I can't wait to see what else is to be unveiled.
